Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement process optimization strategies for manufacturing workflows


• Conduct data analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose corrective actions


• Lead the integration of automation systems and IoT-enabled production tools


• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards


• Develop and maintain documentation for process improvement initiatives


• Monitor KPIs to evaluate the impact of implemented solutions

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)


• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies


• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (digital twins, AI‑driven analytics)


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities


• Excellent communication and project management skills


• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or certifications in Process Optimization or Advanced Manufacturing Technologies is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years in industrial manufacturing, process engineering, or a similar field. Experience in South African manufacturing environments is preferred.

Salary

65,000 – 85,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
