Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Marine Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team in Durban. You will oversee vessel movements, cargo handling, and port documentation, acting as the primary liaison between ship masters, port authorities, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel arrival and departure schedules with port authorities and marine pilots.
• Manage the preparation and submission of all required customs, port, and cargo documentation.
• Monitor cargo loading and discharging operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and timelines.
• Liaise with shipping agents, bunker suppliers, and marine surveyors to arrange necessary vessel services.
• Track and report on vessel performance, port congestion, and operational delays to management.
• Ensure strict adherence to international maritime regulations, environmental policies, and company safety protocols.

• Strong understanding of maritime logistics, port operations, and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
