Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements to derive test strategy and test cases from planning to execution.
• Develop execute and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional regression and integration testing across core platforms.
• Execute maintain and enhance automated test suites.
• Identify document track and verify defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers product owners and business analysts.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies sprint planning and release activities.
• Validate requirements and acceptance criteria for testability.
• Support CI/CD pipeline testing and release validations.
• Analyse quality metrics and provide regular testing status reports.
• Contribute to quality standards testing best practices and continuous process improvements.

Requirements (Must Have)

• Education & Experience (Must meet at least one of the following criteria):
  • A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification (CTFL) or an equivalent quality assurance credential.
  • 45 years of hands-on experience in a software QA/testing role.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Test automation experience involving Microservices Docker and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience integrating and automating test suites within CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions GitLab CI).
