As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift to move materials and products to designated locations - Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles - Stack and store materials in proper locations - Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition - Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of work - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries - Keep accurate records of materials and products moved and stored - Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid forklift operator certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in an industrial setting - Proficient in operating a forklift in various weather and terrain conditions - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating a forklift - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Good communication and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Working Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cape Town, South Africa.
