Senior Creditors Clerk

Our client is seeking a Senior Creditors Clerk to assist with oversight of the creditors team and provide reporting support to the Creditors and Facilities Management and Financial Manager. The role includes reviewing creditor-related financial processes, reconciliations, reporting schedules and analyses, while supporting accurate and effective financial administration. Key Responsibilities Review expense-capturing reports prepared by creditors clerks and capture expenses when required. Prepare and reconcile the utility bill schedule. Liaise with the City of Cape Town regarding council accounts and related queries. Review creditors reconciliations. Review receipting schedules. Review bank reconciliations. Review supplier age analyses. Prepare accruals for review. Review intercompany loan accounts. Assist with queries during audits. Conduct expense versus recoveries analysis. Update and maintain the B-BBEE procurement schedule. Liaise with operations, procurement teams and suppliers. Perform other reasonable duties related to the Senior Creditors Clerk position as required by management. Minimum Requirements Accounting degree. 2–3 years' experience in a similar role. Good Microsoft Excel skills. Advantageous Experience Previous property industry experience. Knowledge of MDA Property Manager. Key Competencies Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
