Job description

We are looking for Experienced Audit Professionals with demonstrated experience in US Government and Compliance audits, including Single Audits and Yellow Book (GAGAS), to support a US client engagement.

Contract type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months

Industry and sector: General & Commercial and Construction

Additional experience: Single Audit and US government audits

Technical knowledge: US GAAP

Software: CCH essential

We are looking for Experienced Audit professionalswith the following minimum requirements & qualifications:

Senior Minimum requirements

ITC/Board 1 Pass - Non-negotiable
Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
4+ years of Public Accounting audit experience
Review and coaching of junior team members.
Audit and documentation of basic and complex audit sections.

SIC Minimum requirements

ITC/Board 1 Pass - Non-negotiable
Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
5+ years of Public Accounting audit experience
2+ years of experience leading teams and managing audits, end to end.
Planning the budget and resources for audits.
Proven track record in reviewing and signing off on work papers.

Manager Minimum requirements

Fully Qualified CA(SA) / CA(Z) / ACA / ACCA / CPA
6+ years of Public Accounting audit experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams and managing audits.
Supervision of the engagement team, tasks and budget.
Project management of audits from planning to completion, including review and sign-off on key audit sections

Key Responsibilities

Senior

Providestimely, high-qualitydeliverables covering complex sections, with a reasonable number of workpaper comments. Mayfacilitate fieldwork, coordinate deliverables from multiple team members.Demonstratesdepth ofknowledge of methodology, relevant standards, and systems andmay collaborate with Manager to guideassociates, interns andmonitorproductivityand workplan scheduleProactively addressesclient concerns and escalatesissues as they arise.Interacts with clientsand engagement teamsto help ensure the information flow from the client to the team is efficient.

SIC

Provides timely, high-quality deliverables covering complex sections while overseeing fieldwork, coordinating deliverables from multiple team members. Demonstrates a depth of knowledge of systems, methodology and can educate and redirect team members.Leads the team through the engagement and prepares financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters, focusing on quality and accuracy.Actively monitors productivity,budgetsand ensures adherence to work plan schedule.

Manager

Provides timely, high-quality client service, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating all client deliverables.Understands skill sets andcapabilities of team members, monitors and reviews workproducedto ensure quality and skill development.Capable of managing larger, more complexengagementteams, ensuresclient satisfaction andteam morale. Proactively and confidently communicates with all levels at the Firm and client.

Note

Should you be successful in your application, you areexpected to have access to the internet, and to ensure that the internet connection is uninterrupted and always accessible. This should be, at minimum, a fibre connection with a proven bandwidth of 50mbps upload and 50Mbps download speed, with alatencyof no more than 30ms. This connection should be sustainablein the event ofpower interruptions.
Audit experience and alignment to a specific level within SAPRO, shall be determined based on your individual audit exposure, technical interview and evaluation.
Generally, we work on a 4 hour overlap with the host firm, however this is client dependent.
