| Overview: | Our client in the property sector is looking to employ an organised, confident and highly capable Property Manager to manage a portfolio of residential properties in London, UK. |
| | |
| | The position is based in East London, South Africa, but you will work as part of a team managing residential property in London. Working hours will therefore need to align closely with UK business hours. You will work directly with colleagues in both South Africa and London and will have genuine responsibility for the performance and service standards of your portfolio. |

| Minimum Requirements: | - Grade 12 / Matric |

| | - Additional studies in line with Property/Law/Administration -- advantageous |

| | - Previous property management, estate agency, facilities management or UK property experience - highly advantageous |

| | - Knowledge of UK residential lettings legislation and compliance -- advantageous |

| Responsibilities: | - Managing landlord and tenant enquiries by telephone and email |
| | |
| | - Coordinating maintenance and repairs with UK contractors |
| | |
| | - Following maintenance issues from initial report through to completion |
| | |
| | - Obtaining and reviewing contractor quotations |
| | |
| | - Managing landlord approvals and keeping clients informed |
| | |
| | - Monitoring gas safety, electrical, EPC and other property compliance requirements |
| | |
| | - Arranging access for contractors, inspections and compliance visits |
| | |
| | - Managing tenancy-related administration |
| | |
| | - Assisting with deposit, check-in and check-out processes |
| | |
| | - Reviewing property inspection reports and identifying required action |
| | |
| | - Managing end-of-tenancy maintenance and works |
| | |
| | - Liaising closely with our London offices |
| | |
| | - Maintaining accurate records on our property management systems |
| | |
| | - Identifying problems before they become complaints |
| | |
| | - Providing landlords and tenants with a high standard of service |
