Job description

Our client in the Corrugated Packaging industry is seeking to employ a Graphic Designer to join their team based in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
  • Knowledge of web and social media platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong creative thinking and ability to develop original ideas.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating designs, illustrations, logos, and other visual content for various products.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of print-ready materials.
  • Edit and improve existing graphics according to specific requirements.
  • Research and develop new creative concepts and strategies.
  • Meet with clients to understand and discuss their visual and design requirements.
  • Develop creative solutions that align with client and business needs.
  • Ensure all designs meet required quality and brand standards.
  • Manage multiple design projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout the design process.
  • Prepare final artwork for production and printing.
