External Sales Executive Airport Industrial, Cape Town

Introduction

Our client is a national supplier of industrial chemicals serving various sectors across South Africa. They are seeking an experienced External Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling referrals research and market development.
• Grow and maintain the customer base through new business cross-selling and strong client relationships.
• Conduct regular client visits and submit weekly call plans.
• Identify customer needs through site visits and needs analysis.
• Prepare and present quotations proposals samples and product information.
• Maintain accurate customer pricing and sales records.
• Provide regular customer feedback sales reports and stock forecasts.
• Manage and develop the sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
• Achieve agreed sales gross profit retention and growth targets.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• External sales account management or business development experience preferably in chemical industrial agricultural or related sectors.
• Relevant sales/marketing qualification advantageous.
• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel.
• Computer literate with CRM email spreadsheet and reporting experience.
• Experience with quotations proposals forecasting and customer records.
• Good commercial awareness communication and negotiation skills.
