Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts and other industrial equipment, as well as a proven track record of working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner


• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles


• Move and stack materials in designated areas


• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning


• Follow all safety protocols and procedures


• Keep accurate records of inventory and materials moved


• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks


• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Minimum of 2 years experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting


• Valid forklift operator certification


• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
