A world-renowned luxury Safari Lodge in Sabi Sand, South Africa is seeking a professional and dedicated Field Guide to join its team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Guide to work within one of Africa’s premier safari destinations, providing unforgettable wildlife encounters while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for hosting guests, leading game drives, interpreting the natural environment, and contributing to conservation initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Lodge environment.
• Minimum NQF4 Trails Guide qualification or CATHSSETA equivalent.
• Valid registration with DEAT.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Advanced Rifle Handling Certificate and SAPS competency.
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP.
• Basic firefighting and 4×4 driving skills.
• Strong knowledge of wildlife, conservation, tracking, birding, botany, astronomy, and photography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy and reporting skills.
• Ability to host guests and deliver exceptional Safari experiences.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work long hours and perform well under demanding conditions.
• Professional appearance and valid South African citizenship or work visa.
