Financial Controller

Key responsibilities - Prepare and present monthly financial results per store and consolidated group - Analyse store-level profitability (sales, food costs, labour, overheads) - Monitor key cost drivers including food, labour, and expenses - Ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation and cash control processes - Ensure SARS compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) - Oversee audit readiness and internal controls - Develop and maintain SOPs for finance and store processes - Design and enhance financial and operational reporting - Manage creditors, debtors, and accounting staff - Monitor cash flow and working capital across stores Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance - Honours Degree in Accounting (preferred) - Completed SAICA Articles - 02 years post-articles experience - Exposure to retail, FMCG or QSR environments (advantageous) - Strong knowledge of SARS compliance - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Experience with accounting systems (Sage, Xero, etc.) - POS systems experience (advantageous) - Commercial and operational mindset - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and high accuracy - Ability to work in fast-paced environment - Strong communication and leadership skills Thank you for your interest.
