OverviewSABRIC is looking for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who will cover a wide array of responsibilities related to personnel management, which may include involvement in matters like recruitment, budgeting, compensation, benefits, Benchmarking, employee training and development, change management, retention management, work continuity and succession planning, compliance, and administration.The HRBP will be regarded as the subject matter expert with full ownership/project management of standard core people processes and must manage, plan and set their own priorities based on overall direction from the company strategy.The HRBP should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management. And be able to communicate with the board of directors as well as senior managers to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture. Work with cross-functional teams on a daily basis and for project management specific to HR.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational DevelopmentMaintenance of Organisational Structure, policies, and processesPartner with business leads and other support functions to maintain a highly motivated and engaged workforceCoaching leaders to develop their understanding of HR mattersDrive Performance Management process and system, such as the organizational leadership review/ Career Path sessions/talent management initiativesCraft executive reports for Board, REMCO and EXCOLearning & development – Support the team in conducting training needs assessment for employees across levels when required. Keep a skills matrix of training and what is related to the positionEncouraging coaching and mentorship through skills initiativesEstablish and maintain a Training and Development committeeProject management skills to facilitate or lead project-based initiativesDrive engagement, transformation, and culture initiatives within the organisationHR Administration Services & ComplianceOnboarding and Updating of Personnel RecordsManagement of employee benefits (for e.g., but no limited to Pension / Provident Fund and Medical Aid, cell phone contracts, wellness programme)Reporting and submissions for payroll complianceGeneral administration of payroll and reconciliationsProvisional and Tax Year end reconciliation and submission (IRP5’s)Responsible for statutory compliance and legislative reporting e.g. Employment Equity, WSP/ATR & OIDResponsible for the implementation of HR Programs and projectsMaintain existing and implement new HR policies, procedures and programsResponsible for OHSRecruitment, Succession, Retention and RetirementAttracts and retains suitable candidates considering business needsManagement of costs associated with recruiting, avoidance or reduced placement fees, advertising costsBenchmark reportingProvide support for Attrition analysis, includes- analyzing Exit interview, observe trends and highlight important aspects, prepare and publish dashboards/reportsMaintain Succession, Retention and Skills Transfer initiativesHR Analytics and ReportingAnalyse trends and metrics in the organisationResolve complex employee relations issues and address grievancesWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retentionProvide HR policy guidanceMonitor and report to EXCO on workforce and succession planningMaintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
