THE ROLE

This is a high-level hospitality leadership position focused on managing the lodge operations, leading the team, and delivering an exceptional, personalized guest experience.

• Managing daily lodge operations and reporting directly to the General Manager
• Maintaining high-touch, personalized guest relations and handling concierge/reception duties
• Leading, onboarding, and mentoring lodge staff to boost morale and ongoing skills development
• Driving HR processes, including recruitment, inductions, and performance management
• Upholding the highest standards of housekeeping, gardening, and overall lodge maintenance
• Overseeing financial management through accurate order administration and stock control
• Communicating with departmental teams to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly
• Planning and executing strategic management plans to drive company goals
• Supporting sustainable lodge operations and eco-friendly practices
• Championing the property's conservation purpose and environmental values

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 6 years' management experience in a 5-star hotel or world-class luxury lodge
• Exceptional Food & Beverage knowledge, including preparation, terminology, and dietary awareness
• Strong financial acumen, budget management, and reporting skills
• Deep understanding of housekeeping and maintenance procedures
• Excellent leadership skills with a developmental, supportive approach to staff
• Solid knowledge of basic labor law and disciplinary procedures
• Computer literate with exceptional English skills (a second language is advantageous)
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, patience, and assertiveness
• Valid Driver's License
