Our client in the Manufacturing and Industrial Flooring Industry is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team based in Kempton Park. The purpose of this role is to manage, maintain and grow the organisations sales in your allocated region, and to identify and convert new opportunities, customers and distributors.

Required Qualifications & Working Experience:

• Matric
• 2 – 4 years of Sales experience within the same or similar industries
• Proficiency using online business platforms (LinkedIn, WhatsApp for Business, etc)
• Prior experience using MS Outlook and the full MS Office Suite
• Drivers License and Own Reliable Vehicle

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organisational Reporting:Report sales performance and activities on a weekly basis, including but not limited to; customer visits, quotes completed, orders loaded and sales achieved
• New Business Development:Minimum of 25 total weekly client visits with 10 new client presentations per weekCompleted calendar and visit reportEach client visit to contain elements of product and concept training or new business and product development discussionsDay to day management of client queries, quoting, order processing and general client support services as part of the sales team
• Business Creation:Target Specifying Market to introduce company range or relevant products or market segmentsActively target and set meetings with new potential Distributor Accounts that fall within region/ territory and target industryActively target and set meetings with new end-user accounts that fall within region/ territory and target industry to specify company product solutions
• Marketing:Assist in preparation for any exhibitions that we either attend alone or jointly with distributors
• Effective Customer Service:Prepare detailed quotations, including availability, price and delivery forecast effectively and efficiently on accordance with company procedures and requirementsTake a pro-active approach to understanding product applications and alternativesStock awareness – select stock in adherence to FIFO principles wherever practicableAmend customer orders where necessary
• Reliable Customer Feedback:Proactively contact customers, keeping them fully updated at all timesNotify customers of any known issues or information that may conflict with their requirements or cause delays
• Resolving Complaints:Ensure that all customer complaints are recorded, providing the necessary details in order to carry out the relevant corrective actions, preventative action, credit notes and sundry invoices where applicable
• Other Duties:Attend sales meetings set by the National Sales ManagerMonthly and Quarterly and Account reporting in accordance to company standard of reporting.Report on Sales Activity Pipeline, results and any other reporting requiredMonthly, Quarterly and Yearly goal achievingMaximise travel planningCreate sales activity plan in support of tactical objectives and provide additional input in form of detailed sales forecasts, etc.Prepare and present customer presentationsMaintain area/ customer recordsControl cost through the effective use of resources / route planning
