Operations Manager

Manages warehouse, logistics, and customer support operations at the branch level to ensure service excellence and stock accuracy. Responsibilities: - Supervise dispatch, receiving, stock control, and driver teams - Oversee branch stocktake and inventory accuracy - Monitor logistics performance, shift allocations, and on-time delivery SLAs - Manage support staff, customer collection areas, and third-party couriers - Lead daily team operations, foster employee engagement, and manage staff performance - Enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain daily housekeeping - Enforce PPE protocols, oversee Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safety, and investigate workplace incidents Essential Requirements: - 5+ years in logistics or operations management with proven leadership and supervisory experience - Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, compliance, and site safety management - Strong organizational skills, staff supervision, and audit discipline (cycle counts and root-cause variance analysis) - Knowledge of stock systems and basic financial controls - Leadership experience and formal knowledge/experience in OHS are strict minimum criteria for this position.
