New Vehicle Sales Manager

Our client, a well-established automotive dealership in Southern Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced and results-driven New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead their New Vehicle Sales Department.

Description:

• Manage and lead the New Vehicle Sales Department.
• Drive the achievement of monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
• Manage a sales volume of approximately 100–120 units per month.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of Vehicle Sales Executives.
• Monitor individual and departmental sales performance.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise vehicle sales and profitability.
• Ensure effective lead management and follow-up processes.
• Monitor stock levels, vehicle ageing and model mix.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly presented, priced and marketed.
• Monitor gross profit and departmental profitability.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager within a motor dealership.
• Proven track record of managing a high-volume sales operation.
• Experience managing approximately 100–120 units per month will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of dealership sales processes and vehicle finance.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team.
• Strong understanding of vehicle gross profit, targets and sales performance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong administrative and reporting abilities.
