Commercial Telematics Supervisor

We are a provider of innovative telematics and connected vehicle solutions, specialising in fleet management technologies that improve safety, operational efficiency, and compliance.
As we expand our presence in the South African market, we are seeking a commercially driven professional to grow our customer base and develop strategic partnerships.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will drive business development, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships for our commercial vehicle telematics and fleet management solutions. The role will engage with fleet operators, logistics companies, dealerships, insurers, financial institutions, and other industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and acquire new clients, particularly large fleet operators and commercial vehicle businesses.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets through proactive business development and relationship management.

Strategic Partnerships

• Develop and maintain relationships with dealerships, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to integrate telematics solutions into commercial vehicle offerings.

Insurance & Financial Services

• Develop partnerships with insurers, banks, and financial institutions.
• Promote telematics-driven solutions for risk management, insurance, and vehicle financing.

Marketing & Customer Success

• Support local marketing initiatives, including events, seminars, and roadshows.
• Provide customer onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve products and services.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Relevant Bachelor's degree will be advantageous.
• 35 years' experience in the commercial vehicle, fleet management, insurance, or finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of the South African commercial vehicle industry and dealer network.
• Established industry contacts will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
