Quality Control Administrator

Key functions, responsibilities, and duties, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Supplier Invoices :

• Verify & Sign For Supplier Invoices Collected From Receiving Department ;
• Process Supplier Invoices ;
• Submit Processed Supplier Invoices To Receiving For Payment ;

Tool / Equipment Register :

• Complete Tool Inspections For QC Department On MySHEQ ;
• Monitor The Status Of Tools & Equipment On MySHEQ ;
• Monitor And Govern The Issuing Of Tools To / From The QC Department ;
• Alert QC Supervisor / QC Foreman / SHEQ Manager Of Any Discrepancies On The Equipment Register ;
• Alert QC Supervisor / QC Foreman / SHEQ Manager Of Any Tools/Equipment Requiring Re-Certification ;
• Upload All Relevant Equipment Certificates Onto MySHEQ ;

Safety File :

• Scan, File & Email All Necessary Safety Related Documents (Safety Talks , Risk Assessments , etc…) ;
• Monitor Employee Competencies & Appointments on MySHEQ ;
• Alert QC Supervisor / QC Foreman / SHEQ Manager of Any Employee Competencies Or Appointments That Need Updating / Renewal ;

Consumables :

• Monitor QC Consumable Stock Levels ;
• Complete And Submit RTO's For Replenishment Of Consumables ;
• Warehouse Transfers (Once Sufficient Experience And Part Knowledge Has Been Gained) :
• Conduct Warehouse Transfers On Syspro ;
• File & Archive Warehouse Transfers ;
• Inform The Destination Warehouse Of Incoming Transfers ;
• Note Any System Discrepancies Encountered During The System Transfer Process ;

QC Inspections :

• Assist The QC Inspectors On The Floor With Inspections When Necessary (Should Not Be Undertaken Whilst Priority Admin Work Is Still Pending) ;
• Supplier NCR's (Once Sufficient Experience And Part Knowledge Has Been Gained) :
• Assist With Loading Supplier NCR's In The Absence Of The QC Supervisor / QC Foreman ;

Key competencies, knowledge, skills and qualification required.

• Completed Matric
• Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental.
• Proven work experience working in a target driven Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of risk identification.
• Sound working knowledge of legislation impacting on mining industry.
