We're seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT) with a strong background in software development and a proven track record of leading projects to success. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from hands-on development into project management and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution : Define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets. Lead teams to deliver on time and within budget. Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships, manage expectations, and communicate risks\/issues clearly. Resource Management : Allocate and coordinate resources effectively, resolving conflicts when needed. Risk Management : Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt plans proactively. Quality Assurance : Ensure deliverables meet high standards and customer expectations. Budget Management : Track expenses, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Team Leadership : Motivate, guide, and evaluate team members while fostering collaboration. Continuous Improvement : Drive process optimization and capture lessons learned for future projects. Qualifications & Experience IT Degree or Diploma Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) 5--8 years in IT, with at least 5 years in software development Strong knowledge of the system development lifecycle Experience in Financial Services or (advantageous) Skilled in Agile methodologies, with Scrum experience preferred Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence Skills & Competencies Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools Stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills Business and financial acumen Personal Attributes Results-driven and client-focused Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient Skilled at navigating complex organisations Growth mindset aligned with Agile values: trust, respect, collaboration, transparency, courage, and servant leadership Why This Role?
