Senior Sales Executive Hospitality / HORECA / Food Service Remote (preferably based in the Western Cape)

About the Role

Our client is a well‑established premium food ingredients/condiment business supplying the hospitality, HORECA and broader food‑service sectors. They are seeking a high‑performing Senior Sales Executive with a strong hunter profile to drive new business and grow existing accounts nationally, with a primary focus on the Western Cape.

This is a fully remote role. Candidates based in the Western Cape will be strongly preferred due to the concentration of key hospitality accounts in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt and secure new business across hotels, restaurant groups, resorts, contract caterers and independent food‑service operators.
  • Leverage and expand a strong existing client base (hotel groups highly advantageous).
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with chefs, F&B directors, purchasing managers and other key decision‑makers.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to grow volume and share of wallet while consistently adding high‑value new accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through disciplined pipeline management, high activity levels and regular client engagement.
  • Conduct product presentations, tastings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting.
  • Travel within the Western Cape and nationally when required to service and grow the territory.

Requirements

  • Preference for candidates with over 8 years successful B2B sales experience in the hospitality, HORECA or food‑service sector.
  • Proven track record as a hunter consistently opening new accounts and delivering growth in competitive environments.
  • Strong existing network and client base in the Western Cape, with national reach and relationships preferred (hotel groups a distinct advantage).
  • High‑functioning, highly motivated, self‑managing and results‑driven individual who thrives with autonomy.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote capacity while remaining tightly aligned to commercial goals.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel when required.
