Our client is an agricultural logistics and transport company seeking a Logistics Consultant to manage client relationships, volumes, budgets and transport rate negotiations. This role requires analytical thinking, relationship-building and the ability to work across commodity markets and transport operations. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, including regular site visits. Negotiate transport rates with clients and transporters. Manage volumes allocated to our client and negotiate new contracts. Analyse commodity trends and adapt pricing and capacity to market fluctuations. Track daily and monthly budgets and costs. Calculate cost per kilometre and understand vehicle running costs to inform pricing. Add new clients and transporters to the existing portfolio. Solve operational problems outside standard hours when required. Requirements 2–4 years' experience in logistics, transport or a similar role in the transport industry. Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours. Relevant degree or diploma qualification. Knowledge of or interest in agricultural markets and commodities.
