SPA RECEPTIONIST

Franschhoek - Cape Winelands, Western Cape (ZA)

START DATE: ASAP / 01 October 2026

REPORT TO: Spa Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday trading
• 09:00am - 17:00pm
• Shifts rotate including off days

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000 - R12,000 Basic Salary per month (Neg. BOE)
• Service Commission (for any treatment rendered by you)
• Retail Commission earned for all retail sold by you
• Performance based incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
2. Reliable transport within the Cape Winelands - we do not offer public transport
3. Professionally groomed - 5-star appearance - looking the part
4. Knowledge and experience of spa treatments, terminology and spa industry - this is very important
5. Spa Booking Systems confident + Microsoft Office (Word / Excel & Outlook)
6. ESP or similar booking systems confident
7. Knowledgeable on spa, holistic wellness and trends around the world as our guests are multi nationals paying a premium to use our spa facilities
8. Professional English command (read, write & speak)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident operating a very busy Guest & Spa Reception area
2. Able to work under pressure and deal with multiple points of communication simultaneously
3. Confident processing bookings, payments and perform administrative tasks
4. Confident in your lingo of the spa sector
5. Retail confident
6. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
7. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
8. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
