SPA & GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER (HYBRID: Receptionist / Therapist)

Tokai, Cape Town South (SOUTHERN SUBURBS), Western Cape (ZA)

START DATE: ASAP / 01 October 2026

REPORT TO: Assistant Spa Manager / Spa Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday – Sunday
• Shifts: 08:00am - 17:00pm / 10:00am - 19:00pm
• 06:00am - 15:00pm (once per month only)
• 1x Weekend off per month + days off in the week
• Hospitality Sector - includes all major public Holidays

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R12,240 Basic Salary per month - guaranteed
• Service Commission (for any treatment rendered by you)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
2. DIPLOMA achieved Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
3. International accreditation from ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / CIDESCO
4. Reliable transport within the Southern Suburbs or be based within greater Constantia region
5. Professionally groomed - 5-star appearance - looking the part
6. Spa Booking Systems confident + Microsoft Office (Word / Excel & Outlook)
7. Receptionist duties experienced in a Day Spa - we require the experience in dealing with VIP guests
8. Prior experience working in a Hotel-Spa / Cruise Ship
9. Ability to perform a Spa Treatment when operationally required (whilst not commonly required, you must be confident to assist if need be)
10. Knowledgeable on spa, holistic wellness and trends around the world as our guests are multi nationals paying a premium to use our spa facilities

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident operating a very busy Guest & Spa Reception area
2. Able to work under pressure and deal with multiple points of communication simultaneously
3. Confident processing bookings, payments and perform administrative tasks
4. Confident in your lingo of the spa sector
5. Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services to be performed when operationally required
6. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
7. Retail confident
8. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
9. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
10. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
