SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative:
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Junior Internal Sales support

Stipend: R7500

Location: Gauteng (Northcliff Office Park)

About the role
Drive the achievement of sales targets through the effective account management skill.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer relationships

• Identify means of engaging with clients, which will build relationships and differentiate the company from its competitors.
• Engage with customers regularly to establish rapport and build sound relationships.
• Work in partnership with customers to manage a joint account plan, using an understanding of their requirements in order to recommend viable solutions which create sales opportunities.
• Ensure that customer records are managed on the relevant IT system.

Contribute to marketing initiatives

• Be fully trained and knowledgeable in the Sales division product ranges
• Solution to selling key products to existing and new customers
• Design of customized solutions to suit customer needs
• Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts
• Managing the customer journey (customer relationship management)
• Customer retention and upselling initiatives
• Attend product conferences / training and road shows to expand knowledge of the industry
• Collaborate with customers and OEM vendors to develop unique marketing initiatives, which achieve market penetration.

Minimum Requirements

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
• Matric.
• Relevant B Com degree, Business Diploma, IT Degree
