POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have proven Barista experience and be confident working in a professional, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional coffee station.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and hot beverages.
• Operate and maintain commercial coffee equipment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation.
• Perform grinding, dosing, tamping, extraction and milk steaming correctly.
• Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control.
• Minimise wastage and ensure the coffee station remains adequately stocked.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Proven Barista experience is essential.
• Experience operating a commercial espresso machine.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based beverages.
• Practical knowledge of milk steaming and coffee extraction.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual and professionally presented.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
