Our client operates within the Autodesk Manufacturing field. They provide internal and external services covering software implementation, product training, design services, and technical consulting.

The Role: Autodesk Manufacturing Technical Consultant

The Autodesk Manufacturing Technical Consultant provides technical consulting, software and workflow implementation, and product support to contribute to engineering and manufacturing operations. The role encompasses both internal and external responsibilities, including product training, project management, design services, and product presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply 5 years of Autodesk Inventor, 3 years of Autodesk AutoCAD, and 2 years of Autodesk Vault experience to complete technical consulting duties.

• Implement Autodesk software and manufacturing workflows for internal and external projects.

• Conduct product training and deliver product presentations.

• Manage technical projects and provide design services.

• Perform product support research.

• Utilize CAM tools and advanced engineering and manufacturing workflows where required.

About You

• Minimum 5 years of Autodesk Inventor experience at an advanced level

• Minimum 3 years of Autodesk AutoCAD experience at an intermediate level

• Minimum 2 years of Autodesk Vault experience

• Mechanical Engineering Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification

• Must reside in Cape Town

• Must have own vehicle for work use

• Excellent work ethic and communication skills

• Must be a team player

• Must have a passion for Engineering and CAD/CAM software

• Available to start as soon as possible

• CAM experience (advantage)

• Knowledge of advanced engineering and manufacturing workflows (advantage)

• Exposure to multiple manufacturing industries (advantage)

• Technical knowledge of computers (advantage)
