Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in , Food Technology, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Plant Manager, Industrial Manager, or Operations Manager within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams , preferably within a food manufacturing or environment. Strong experience across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Projects, and EHS . Proven experience managing operational budgets, CAPEX projects, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes . Strong knowledge of SAP\/ERP and manufacturing systems , with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. In-depth knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance . Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence . Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, yield, downtime, productivity, and production losses . Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills . Experience managing budgets, inventory, working capital, production planning, and supply chain performance . Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, and risk management . Experience with employee relations, performance management, coaching, talent development, and working with unions will be advantageous. Strong business acumen with the ability to work effectively under pressure and drive operational excellence.
