About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Geothermal Energy Engineer to lead critical projects within their remote operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of geothermal power plant projects, ensuring technical feasibility and economic viability.
• Manage drilling operations, well completion, and reservoir management strategies for optimal heat extraction.
• Apply advanced principles of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics to optimize energy conversion processes.
• Conduct rigorous risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for all project phases.
• Collaborate with geological and geophysical teams to interpret subsurface data and guide exploration efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety standards throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geothermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the geothermal energy sector, with significant project leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in geothermal reservoir engineering , drilling technology, and power plant design.
• Proficiency with relevant simulation software (e.g., TOUGH2, EGSnumeric) and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
