Education: A Bachelor of (BEng) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering and higher PMP (Project Management Professional) - PMI advantageous PRINCE2 advantageous APM \/ Project Management qualification advantageous PMBOK-based Project Management qualification advantageous Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management advantageous (Government Certificate of Competency) advantageous Job Experience & Skills Required: BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering . 3+ years' relevant engineering\/project experience . Proven experience managing mechanical or multidisciplinary projects. Experience within manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, engineering, industrial plants, processing or similar environments . Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and project execution. Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors and suppliers . Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Strong project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills. Experience taking projects through design, procurement, installation and commissioning . Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure. Strong focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery .
