Our client is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with strong integration across Quantity Surveying, Architecture and Engineering. They promote professionalism, ethics, and an inclusive, collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will join their Quantity Surveying department and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders across a variety of projects. Minimum requirements: - BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying - Professional Registration (PrQS) - 6 - 10+ years experience in a QS role - Valid drivers licence - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, WinQS and DimX - Strong command of English - Willingness to travel - Ability to work in fast-paced environments Key Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate design documentation and conduct risk analysis - Provide guidance on building processes and construction methodologies - Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates, including value engineering - Compile Bills of Quantities and contract documentation - Conduct financial evaluation and vetting of tenders - Prepare professional fee proposals for multiple disciplines - Manage cashflow forecasts, cost reports, variation orders, valuations and contractual claims - Prepare and negotiate final accounts - Attend meetings (online and in-person) - Formulate, review, and analyse repair estimates - Prepare viability studies, damage costings, and determine value at risk - Liaise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, QS) Core Competencies: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - High computer literacy (especially MS Excel) - Time management and organisational skills - Estimating, budgeting, procurement and cost control - Negotiation and conflict resolution - Quality assurance - Cooperation and coordination across teams
