Account Sales Executive – Weekend Cover

Our expanding UK cleaning business is looking for a results-oriented Account Sales Executive to help maximise sales opportunities and deliver a professional experience to customers from enquiry through to booking.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys speaking with customers, following up opportunities and taking responsibility for moving prospects through the sales pipeline.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The successful candidate will manage incoming opportunities, establish customer needs, provide appropriate service recommendations and ensure promising enquiries are followed through.

Key Duties

• Handle a pipeline of warm customer enquiries

• Qualify prospects and establish their cleaning requirements

• Explain available services clearly and confidently

• Progress enquiries towards completed bookings

• Contact customers again where further follow-up is required

• Update and maintain customer records within the CRM

• Keep sales opportunities organised and moving through the pipeline

• Develop positive and professional customer relationships

• Review sales performance and activity levels

• Take ownership of achieving agreed sales targets

• The position follows a rotating weekend schedule, with working patterns including Saturday–Tuesday and Wednesday–Sunday.

Compensation & Perks

• Negotiable basic salary depending on experience

• OTE R25,000+ per month

• Fully remote position

• 40 days paid annual leave

1. Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in sales, telesales or business development

2. Professional and confident English communication skills

3. Comfortable managing your own workload with limited supervision

4. Strong customer service, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

5. Able to remain composed and motivated when dealing with objections or rejection

6. Proven ability to sell over the telephone and work towards measurable targets

7. Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

8. Familiarity with CRM software and digital lead management

9. Strong ability to negotiate and resolve customer queries

10. Own reliable laptop or desktop computer
