Code 10 Truck Driver

Our Client in the Mokopane area is looking for Code 10 Drivers to safely and efficiently operate Code 10 vehicles for the transportation and delivery of goods, while ensuring compliance with company policies, road traffic legislation, health and safety requirements, and customer service standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) driver's licence wit valid PDP/PrDP.
• Minimum 2–3 years' relevant driving experience.
• Good knowledge of South African roads and routes.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Code 10 vehicles, including trucks and other heavy vehicles.
• Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, transported, and offloaded safely.
• Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, and other required documentation.
• Comply with the Road Traffic Act, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Provide professional service to customers and clients.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle breakdowns promptly.
