Job description
The lodge is known for its mountain scenery, weddings, award-winning spa and on-site restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a multi-faceted hospitality property end to end. - Strong working knowledge of property maintenance, including septic tank systems, with the ability to direct maintenance teams on repairs
- Solid understanding of accommodation, restaurant and general lodge operations
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the property
- Available to start immediately, with a latest start date of January 2027
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across accommodation, restaurant and general lodge functions
- Direct and manage maintenance requirements, including septic tank and general infrastructure issues
- Lead, manage and support the broader lodge team
- Liaise with wedding coordinators and spa staff to ensure smooth overall property operations
- Maintain service and operational standards across the lodge
- Support game drive and guided walk operations from a management perspective
- Handle general administrative and operational duties as required
On Offer:
- Salary: negotiable, based on experience
- Live-in or live-out option available
- Live-in accommodation is for a single person only (no children or pets)
- Start date: immediate, with a latest start date of January 2027
