What you'll be doing The successful candidate will take a hands-on and leadership-oriented role in Magistrates Court matters, including: - âï ̧ Family Law matters - âï ̧ Civil Litigation - âï ̧ Debt Collection - Magistrates Court appearances and related preparation - Assisting with the management of matters from inception through to resolution - Drafting and reviewing legal documentation - Liaising with clients, opposing attorneys and relevant stakeholders - Taking ownership of matters and ensuring deadlines are met Magistrates Court experience and the ability to take leadership of these matters is a crucial requirement for this position. What we're looking for âï ̧ Completed LLB degree âï ̧ Currently a Candidate Attorney âï ̧ Experience with Magistrates Court appearances âï ̧ Strong interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection âï ̧ Looking to cede articles âï ̧ Drivers licence and own vehicle âï ̧ Experience with LegalSuite would be advantageous âï ̧ Experience with Court Online / CaseLines âï ̧ Exceptional communication skills âï ̧ Excellent attention to detail âï ̧ Confident, professional and able to work independently âï ̧ A proactive individual who is comfortable taking responsibility As this is a boutique law firm, professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues are particularly important.
