Analytics and Reporting Lead

As the Analytics Manager, you will act as the subject matter expert for analytics, performance measurement, KPI governance, and business intelligence. You will be responsible for leading the development of scalable dashboards and reporting solutions, driving continuous improvement in analytics capabilities, and ensuring that data is translated into valuable business outcomes.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of analytics solutions, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.
• Establish and govern KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Drive analytics best practices across the organisation, including experimentation, hypothesis-led analysis, and performance measurement.
• Oversee data preparation, validation, cleansing, and governance processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Partner with business, finance, risk, technology, and data teams to deliver insight-led recommendations.
• Lead and develop analytics team members through coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting structures, data collection processes, and metric definitions.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Studies, Analytics, Mathematical Sciences, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' experience within Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics environments.
• 3-4 years' experience managing or leading analytics teams.
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Lending, or a related industry.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence implementation projects advantageous.

Skills:

• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting.
• Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks.
• Stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Experience with UAT, data governance, and data quality management advantageous.
