Wedding Coordinator
A luxury game lodge in Modimolle is seeking an organised, professional and guest-focused Wedding Coordinator to manage wedding enquiries, planning and onsite coordination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, coordinating wedding details with clients and suppliers, and ensuring seamless execution of weddings while maintaining excellent service standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous wedding, events or hospitality coordination experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Professional and well presented
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Confident handling enquiries, proposals and quotations
- Experience coordinating events from planning through to execution
- Good understanding of venue operations and event requirements
- Computer literate and comfortable working with booking/reporting systems
- Strong follow-up and sales skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays
- Valid Driver's Licence advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond promptly to wedding enquiries and prepare proposals and quotations
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Maintain accurate enquiry, booking and client reports
- Coordinate wedding planning, timelines, décor, catering and onsite requirements
- Conduct venue show-arounds and site inspections
- Build strong relationships with clients and encourage referrals
- Prepare function sheets, floor plans and event briefs
- Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers
- Manage guest rooming lists and amendments
- Assist with developing and improving wedding packages
- Monitor deposits and outstanding payments
- Coordinate weddings on the day to ensure seamless execution
- Ensure high service and presentation standards throughout each event
- Assist with additional wedding and event requirements when needed
PACKAGE:
- Basic Salary: R9,500 per month
- Single accommodation provided
- Monthly incentive on wedding revenue
