About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Oversee the operations of the logistics team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in optimizing transportation routes and managing warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Polokwane region's logistical infrastructure is a plus.
