Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their Pharmaceutical Manufacturing operations based in Mahikeng. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to process improvement, new product introductions, and facility upgrades. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of project objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This is a critical role for driving operational excellence and innovation in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Coordinate activities across various departments, including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP) throughout project lifecycles.
• Facilitate project team meetings and provide regular status updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or related manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to closure.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
