Junior FMCG Product Developer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an enthusiastic and eager Junior FMCG Product Developer to join their innovative team as an intern, working remotely. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector, specifically within product development and formulation. You will work closely with experienced scientists and product managers, contributing to the research, testing, and refinement of new and existing products. This fully remote role allows you to immerse yourself in the industry from anywhere, gaining valuable skills and insights into bringing exciting consumer products to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior product developers in formulating and testing new FMCG product concepts under supervision.
• Conduct basic laboratory experiments, ingredient research, and sensory evaluation support.
• Help in documenting experimental procedures, results, and product specifications.
• Collaborate with team members on researching market trends and competitor product analysis.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute ideas for product innovation.
• Support the team in ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards during the development process.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• A strong interest in product development and the FMCG industry .
• Basic understanding of food chemistry, formulation principles, or laboratory techniques is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings.
• Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
