About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join their established security team, operating with a hybrid model from Centurion . This role is essential for monitoring and defending against cyber threats, ensuring the protection of critical data and systems. You will play a key part in analyzing security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and contributing to the continuous improvement of security posture. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about staying ahead of the latest cybersecurity trends. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security infrastructure for suspicious activities and respond to alerts from SIEM systems .
• Analyze security logs, network traffic, and system events to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents, documenting findings and recommending remediation actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and enhance system resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and VPNs.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
