Senior Telecoms Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex telecommunications networks, including IP , MPLS, and fiber optics.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum service availability .
• Develop and implement network security protocols and best practices to protect network infrastructure and data.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on network capacity planning, upgrades, and new technology integration.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and standards for operational support and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance on complex network challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecoms network engineering , with a strong focus on core network technologies.
• Proven expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network simulation tools and network monitoring platforms.
• Excellent understanding of telecommunications standards and protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
