Senior Human Resources Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role requires a deep understanding of HR principles and practices, with a focus on driving HR initiatives across the organisation remotely. You will be responsible for complex HR projects, advising leadership, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies that support employee growth and business objectives, all within a virtual work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage key HR projects, including HR system implementations and process improvements.
• Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on complex HR matters.
• Develop and refine HR policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance.
• Drive initiatives related to talent management, performance, and employee engagement in a remote setting . Analyze HR data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the overall HR strategy.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in specialist or generalist roles.
• Proven experience in managing complex HR projects and leading change initiatives.
• Expertise in South African labour law and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
