About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Marketing Automation Specialist to join their marketing operations team, servicing clients in Upington . This role is central to designing, implementing, and managing automated marketing campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive revenue growth. You will leverage marketing automation platforms to create personalized customer journeys, segment audiences, and measure campaign effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and execute automated marketing workflows and campaigns across various channels (email, SMS, in-app messages).
• Manage and segment customer databases to enable targeted and personalized marketing communications.
• Develop landing pages and forms within the marketing automation platform to capture leads effectively.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of automation initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices within marketing automation platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Marketing Automation Specialist or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with major marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua).
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, lead nurturing, and customer journey mapping.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools like Google Analytics.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization is a plus.
