About the Role

Our client is seeking highly trained and responsible Specialized Biohazard Cleaning Technicians for challenging assignments in and around Klerksdorp . This critical role involves the safe and effective remediation of environments affected by biological hazards, such as trauma scenes, crime scenes, and hoarding situations. You will work with specialized equipment and protocols to decontaminate, sanitize, and restore affected areas, ensuring public health and safety. The ideal candidate must be resilient, empathetic, and possess rigorous training in handling hazardous materials and sensitive situations with utmost professionalism, operating within the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform emergency response cleaning and decontamination of biohazardous scenes using specialized techniques and equipment.
• Safely handle, package, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with strict regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all company protocols, safety guidelines, and relevant industry standards for biohazard remediation.
• Conduct thorough site assessments and develop remediation plans for complex scenarios.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all cleaning processes, materials used, and safety procedures followed.
• Provide support and guidance to clients during difficult and sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.

Requirements

• Certification and experience in biohazard remediation and crime scene cleanup.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in using personal protective equipment (PPE) and specialized cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure and in emotionally challenging circumstances.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as emergencies arise.
