Senior Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Installation Engineer to lead and execute complex installation projects within the Klerksdorp area. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire installation process, from planning and preparation to execution and final commissioning of specialized equipment and systems. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, exceptional technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing intricate installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of advanced equipment and systems on client sites.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Oversee and guide a team of installation technicians, providing technical expertise and direction.
• Ensure compliance with all project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct post-installation inspections and provide comprehensive handover documentation and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in installation engineering , project management, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to the company's offerings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
