About the Role

Our client is looking for a vibrant and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join their educational team, delivering high-quality learning experiences remotely to children in the Polokwane region. You will be responsible for creating engaging, play-based learning opportunities that foster holistic development in young children, from personal, social, and emotional growth to early literacy and numeracy skills. This role requires creativity, a deep understanding of early childhood pedagogy, and the ability to connect effectively with both children and parents through digital platforms, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating virtual classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a comprehensive, play-based curriculum aligned with Early Years Foundation Stage principles.
• Conduct interactive online lessons, activities, and circle times that encourage participation and exploration.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed digital records and observations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing feedback and strategies to support learning at home.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an EYFS teacher or in a similar early years setting, ideally with some remote teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of child development frameworks and best practices in early learning.
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms, educational apps, and digital communication tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage young learners and their families remotely.
