Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test a wide range of equipment and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Conduct thorough site assessments to plan and execute installations efficiently, identifying any potential challenges or requirements.
• Document all installation activities, maintenance logs, and repair reports accurately and promptly.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines during all work activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar hands‑on technical role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or relevant system components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for travel to client sites in and around Pietermaritzburg .
• Relevant trade certification or vocational training in a related field is highly advantageous.
