About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable On-Site Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations at their facility in Cape Town . You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and coordinating schedules to meet operational needs. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and efficient working environment. You will play a vital part in maintaining the pristine condition of the premises, directly impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and work assignments for the team.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Train new cleaning staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the cleaning team and the work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry is essential.
