About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Elderly Care Specialist to provide comprehensive support services within the Rustenburg community. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens, assisting them with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their emotional and social well-being. You will work closely with families and healthcare providers to create personalized care plans, bridging the gap between home support and clinical care. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of elderly clients.


• Provide hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and domestic tasks.


• Administer or assist with medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to schedules.


• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any significant changes to healthcare professionals.


• Facilitate social interaction and engagement through planned activities and community integration.


• Maintain clear and concise records of client care, services provided, and progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience in geriatric care, home health, or a related field.


• A compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong understanding of the needs of older adults.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.


• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs.


• Must be comfortable with both in-person client visits in Rustenburg and remote administrative tasks.


• Basic first aid certification is an asset.
